This Act may be cited as the Investment Disputes (Enforcement of Awards) Act. In this Act unless the context otherwise requires—“Award” means an Award made in accordance with the Convention;“Convention” means the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States dated 18th March, 1965;"Investment Dispute" means a legal dispute arising directly out of an investment which is within the scope of the Convention;"party" means a person who has had an Investment Dispute which has resulted in an Award;"Secretary General" means the Secretary General of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes established under the Convention. Every Award shall be binding on the parties. the Court shall direct registration of the Award. Where an Award is registered under section 4, then— The Chief Justice may make rules of court prescribing the procedure to be followed and the fees to be paid in proceedings under this Act.
