The Lotteries Act provides for the licensing of a National Lottery. P.O. Box 3062
The National Loticries Board (NLB) under its powers in the Act invites Blantyre, Malawi

Interested parties are advised to apply in writing for a Request for
Proposal (RFP). The RFP shall be issued upon payment of a prescribed fee Email: mgb@gamingboard.org mw
of K50.000. The RFP contains the criteria for evaluating applications for
the National Lottery, the information the applicants are expected to ptovide
and the timetable for considering the applications.

2.0 Qualifications of Applicants

Applicants are expected to possess sufficient and appropriate

knowledge and experience to operate and nin a national lottery. They are GAZETTE
expected to possess adequate financial and other material resources to
conduct the National Lottery.

The Board also expects the operator of the National Lottery to be fit (General Notices, Government Not ces and Acts)

and strictly in accordance with the laws, and are able to protect the
interests of all the participants in the National Lottery.

And, subject to these overriding duties, the operator of the National

3.0 Term of Licence
