Standing Orders
Summons to Members
(Under section 59 (2))

WHEREAS it is provided that Mr. Speaker shall summon each
Member to attend a new session of the Assembly at the time
appointed;

AND WHEREAS it is necessary that all Members and
appointed Ministers attend the new session of the Assembly;

NOW THEREFORE, under Standing Order 15 (2) and by
virtue of the power in me vested, I, Henry Foster Chmunthu
Banda, m.p., Speaker of National Assembly, do summon all
Members and appointed Ministers to attend the new session at
Parliament Building Chamber, on Friday, 8th February, 2013,
Lilongwe at 9:30 a m. and for that purpose, to arrive on Thursday,
7th February, 2013; and herein fail not.
