An Act to authorize the Government to borrow from the OPEC
Fund for International Development a loan in the amount of
fifteen million United States Dollars (US$15,000,000)

ENACTED by the Parliament of Malawi as follows-
1. This Act may be cited as the OPEC Fund for International Short title
Development (Karonga Town Water Supply Project) Loan
(Authorization) Act, 2018.

2.~(l) The Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Authority to
borrow
Development, on behalf of the Government, is authorized to borrow US$l5,000,
from the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFTD) a Loan 000
in an amount fifteen million United States Dollars (US$15,000,000)
for the purpose specified in section 3 at the times and upon the terms
and conditions which the Minister may, in his discretion, agree with
OFID.
