ROADS FUND ADMINISTRATION (TOLLS) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS, 2022
In Exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Roads Fund Administration
Act, I, Fenix Larie: Muusvu, Minister of Finance, after consultations with the Board, make
the following Regulations—
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Roads Fund Administration Citation and
(Tolls) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 and shall come into operation on 12th commence-
January, 2022. ment
2. The Roads Fund Administration (Tolls) Regulations (hereinafter Amendment
referred as the “principal Regulations”) are amended, in regulation 2, by of regulation2
deleting the definitions of the words “frequent user” and “frequent user Cap. 69:08
discounted toll”. att tR
3. Regulation 9 of the principal Regulations is amended, by deleting the Amendment
words— of regulation 9
of the
(a) “* or a frequent user”; and principal

4. Regulation 10 (3) of the principal Regulations is amended, by Amendment
inserting the following new paragraphs (e) and ()— ce ea

“(e) a vehicle carrying the remains of a human being; and principal

(f) trucks registered outside Malawi, with proof of having paid an
appropriate international transit fee.”.
5. The principal Regulations are amended, by revoking the Second Replacement
Schedule and replacing therefor, the following new Second Schedule— of the Second
