ATOMIC ENERGY ACT

ATOMIC ENERGY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2021
In EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 82 of the Atomic Energy Act, I, NANCY
Tempo, Minister of Forestry and Natural Resources, on recommendation of the Atomic
Energy Regulatory Authority, make the following Regulations—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Atomic Energy (Amendment) Citation
Regulations, 2021.

2. The Atomic Energy Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Amendment
principal Regulations) are amended in regulation 14 by— he . oa
ap. 61:

(a) deleting subregulation (2) and substituting therefor the following sub-icg. p. 41
new subregulation—
“(2) An applicant or a licensee, as the case may be, shall pay
the applicable fees prescribed under the Atomic Energy (Fees)
Regulations.”; and
(b) deleting subregulation (3).

3. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 17 (1) by Amendment
deleting the words “in the Fifth Schedule” andss substituting therefor the words ofr. 17 of the

4. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 64 (1) by Amendment
deleting the words “in the Fifth Schedule” and substituting therefor the words ofr. 64 of the
