The Mzuzu City Council would like to inform all property owners in Notices and Acts)
the City of Mzuzu that it will start billing City Rates using the adjusted land
and improvement values.
Published Weekly (Fridays)
These new City Rates will be based on the 2011 Quenquenial
Valuation Roll (QVR) and that the Council will use the rate of 4.0 tambala
in the kwacha and 2.5 tambala in the kwacha for Commercial properties
Price varies depending on number of pages
and Residential properties respectively. It also proposes will use 4.0
tambala in the new commercial area. The Council has adjusted its rates
downwards from 11.0 tambala in the kwacha and 9.9 tambala
in the kwacha for Commercial properties and Residential properties, Available at—
respectively.
